Physiologic Communications, LLC (PhysioComm), based in Rochester, NY is an early stage company that designs and develops implantable wireless biosensors that integrate living cells within the electronics to create a "biological chip". This innovative technology is based on intellectual property licensed from the University of Rochester Medical Center as well as the companies’ own rapidly growing IP portfolio.  Our technology provides advanced diagnostic, monitoring and therapeutic solutions to the pharmaceutical and drug discovery industry. This Implantable Wireless Biosensor Matrix  ("Matrix device") provides a tool to monitor biochemical signals in the body. The technology will accelerate and redefine existing drug discovery strategies by providing wireless real-time  physiologic monitoring of biological  systems during the various phases of drug discovery. The company has developed and is currently building the first generation Matrix device with early biologic studies in progress. PhysioComm plans to apply its technology to the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of patients afflicted with diseases such as heart failure and diabetes.
